Day 1
Arrive Delhi at 1100 hrs You will be met on arrival and driven to Agra (approximately 4 hrs driving time). Check-in at Howard Park Plaza for 2 nights (Standard Grade Modern Hotel; Superior room). (Agra grew in prominence under the rule of the Mughal Empire in 1526, reaching its zenith between 1556 and 1658, under the successive rules of Akbar, Shah Jehan and Jehangir. Akbar's reign was memorable in the city's history when it became a leading centre of art, science, commerce and culture, drawing intellectuals and artists to its Darbars and Havelis)

Day 2
Morning sightseeing of Agra visiting the Red Fort, the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula and the Taj Mahal. (The Red Fort or Agra Fort, on the banks of the River Yamuna, is situated in the centre of the town. Various styles of architecture are evident within the Fort and demonstrate the boldness of Akbar's period, the refinement of Jehangir's time, and the subtleness of Shah Jehan' rule. The other attractions here include The Diwan-i-Am, the Diwan-i-Khaas and Jodhabai's Palace. The Tomb of Itmad-ud-Duala is situated opposite the Taj Mahal, on the other side of the River Yamuna, houses a magnificent mausoleum of Ghias Beg, the father of Noor Jehan. The Taj Mahal, which is essentially one man's monumental testimony to Love, has become synonymous not only with this city but also with India as a whole. The mausoleum was built by Shah Jehan for his Empress Mumtaz Mahal. The construction is believed to have taken 22 years to complete with over 20,000 craftsmen working round the clock. The design and construction is said to be that of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori.) Afternoon enjoy an excursion to the deserted mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. (Fatehpur Sikri, about 37 km from Agra, was one of the capital cities of Emperor Akbar, and derives its name from the fact that Akbar marched from here and conquered Gujrat in 1652. The city is rectangular in shape with nine huge Darwazas or gates. The whole complex is made of red sandstone and is an architectural masterpiece, which has been declared a world heritage site. Also situated here is the tomb of the famous Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chisti.)

Day 3
Morning drive to Delhi (approximately 4 hrs driving time). Check-in at Hotel Oberoi Maidens for 1 night (Superior Grade Modern Hotel; Standard room). (Delhi has seen the rise and fall of many empires and each dynasty of Kings has left behind monuments and memories to commemorate the grandeur of bygone days. Very few cities in the world offer such diversity in architectural styles as Delhi. The Old city of Delhi today stands as an epitome of the whole history of Indo-Islamic architecture.) Afternoon combined sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi which includes Jama Masjid -the largest mosque in India constructed in 1656, Humayun's Tomb -built in 16th Century and a percusor to the Taj Mahal and Lutyen’s buildings.
