Personal information
When you make a booking with Kingfisher Holidays we need to collect information from you. We will need your name and address and contact telephone numbers as well as the names of all the passengers travelling. These details are stored on our secured database so that we can contact you about your reservation if we need to. For example, we may need to contact you about a change to your flights or other important information. We use your personal information to understand better your needs and interests and to provide you with a better service. Kingfisher Holidays can assure you that your personal information will only be used to support your customer relationship with us. We take seriously the trust you place in us. Kingfisher Holidays will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others.
Non personal information
This is information about usage and service operation and is not associated with a specific personal identity. We collect and analyze non-personal information to evaluate how visitors use our website. For example we can see how many visitors have viewed a particular page on our website or looked at a particular special offer. Other data we may collect may include the browser type and IP address. Most non personal data is collected by the use of cookies. We use this information to better understand your needs and provide a better service as well as to analize the performance of our website and to improve usability and site content.
Credit Card information
You can pay for our services by credit or debit cards as well as cheques. When paying by credit or debit cards we will require the full name and address of the card holder as well as contact details of the cardholder. In some cases this may be different to the address of the lead passenger travelling, which we will also need. For customer security reasons We operate a system where before a transaction is verified we check the cardholders address and security signature (CVV2) against those stored by the credit card company. Once the transaction is authorised by your credit or debit card company we do not store copies of card numbers.
E-mail newsletter
You can choose to sign up to our e-mail newsletter. If you subscribe to this we will periodically keep you informed of special offers to Goa, holiday deals and cheap flights as well as other information about Goa and other marketing messages. If you decide to subscribe we only require your current e-mail address. Once you have entered your e-mail address into the "subscribe" box on our web site you will receive an email asking you to confirm your agreement to receive our e-mail newsletters. Only after receiving this will we accept your subscription to our newsletter. This is to prevent anybody subscribing you without your knowledge. All our newsletters include an "unsubscribe" link to enable you to unsubscribe and stop receiving e-mail newsletters. You can also email us a request to unsubscribe by emailing us.
